Draft. This document reflects intended terms but has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. Treat it as informative, not binding, until v1.0 is published.

1. Who we are

"ROK," "we," and "us" refer to Random Opportunities for Kindness. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Do No Harm community guidelines.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must use a username (not their real name). Users under 13 cannot sign up directly without a parent or guardian going through our forthcoming consent flow.

3. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share your password or your auth session with anyone. If you think your account has been compromised, email security@rokindness.org.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of acts you post. By posting, you grant ROK a non-exclusive license to display the content within the platform and (if you opt in) within marketing materials. You agree your content is truthful — see Do No Harm — and that you have the rights and consent required to post any media or describe any third party.

5. Points and tiers

Points are an internal score. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not constitute a security or any form of property. Partner perks advertised against tiers are subject to availability and to the partners' own terms.

6. Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines. Removed acts have their points reversed. Appeals → moderation@rokindness.org.

7. Prohibited use

Don't use the platform to harass, defraud, or harm anyone. Don't attempt to circumvent the points engine, scrape user data, or impersonate others. Don't use ROK as a marketing channel.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties. ROK is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Where required by law, our aggregate liability is capped at $100.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post a notice in-app and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
